Thursday, January 31st, 2008After Macy’s vendors saw profits slip away into red ink, the store has a sale this Friday Feb. 1, which is a promotional tie-in with the American Heart Association. It is called “National Wear Red Day.”
“Wear red on Friday, February 1st and you’ll receive an exclusive All-Day Shopping Pass for an extra 15% off apparel and accessories.” There is an asterisk next to 15% off, as it excludes cosmetics.
Vendors are already wearing red, and the question remains when do they go into the black?
